Chef Michael Hoy initially came to Prince Edward County, Ontario’s hottest new wine and culinary destination, as Director of the popular Cookery School at The Waring House. For more than twenty-five years, Chef Michael Hoy has distinguished himself as a passionate student and exponent of the culinary arts. Prior to moving to Picton, he was a member of the culinary team at the well-known Westover Inn in St. Mary’s. At Clara’s, Michael takes great pleasure in working with the many exceptional foods grown and produced in Prince Edward County, transforming them into wonderfully delicious and beautifully presented menu choices, with an emphasis on healthy dining.

Chef Lili Sullivan has been cooking for almost as long as Michael Hoy, and teaching for twelve years. She was chef at the Rebel House in Toronto, before moving to Prince Edward County. Lili has been an executive member of the Women’s Culinary Network for twelve years, Knives and Forks, and Feast of Fields. A strong supporter of the family farm and cooking from the land, Lili brings incredible energy and a creative spirit to the culinary team at Clara’s.

In summertime, dinner guests are welcome to enjoy their meals on the inn’s wrap-around veranda, or in the air-conditioned comfort of the charming dining room. Clara’s has a discriminating wine list, featuring wines from Prince Edward County, Ontario VQA, and international wines, all specially selected to complement menu items and to enhance your dining experience.

Special food requests are cheerfully and expertly accommodated, whether due to allergies, vegetarian preferences, or other dietary requirements. Advance notification is always appreciated.

Hours are subject to change seasonally so please
