Some
therapeutic massages and therapies are
eligible for full or partial coverage
under extended health care plans. A
massage-specific receipt can be prepared
for clients if they advise attendants
of the need at the time of booking.
The treatment philosophy
at Claramount
draws from, but is not confined to,
a therapeutic model developed in mid-nineteenth
century Bavaria by Sebastian Kneipp
(K'nipe). His time-honoured programme
has five components or pillars in
a wellness strategy. Of those, the
use of water is essential. The other
elements involved are movement therapies,
nutrition for health, the use of botanicals
and regenerative therapies such as
massage, stress reduction and relaxation
that promote a balanced lifestyle.

is, however, a unique therapeutic approach.
The longstanding Kneipp model is combined 
with
approaches used by modern day registered
therapists, nutritionists, psychologists
and aestheticians. Added to that is
the philosophy of the owners who seek
therapies in keeping with their backgrounds
in modern day science and medicine
and who also firmly believe in all

food and top-notch service. Using a
holistic approach, Claramount therapies
will integrate a variety of restorative
and preventative programmes.
